Natural Ways to Treat a Gout Toe

By Aneron Kepasil

Gout is an agonizing form of arthritis. It occurs due to the purines in the uric acid that form around the joints. Those suffering from gout experience heat, swelling, tremendous pain and joint stiffness. Consuming excess purine containing foods like organ meats, dried beans, sardines and anchovies can cause gout.

What is Gout? Gout is the result of too much uric acid that builds up in the body over a period of time.
The uric acid forms very sharp crystals that cluster around the joints causing the pain, inflammation
and tenderness associated with gout. Since gout is caused by the formation of uric acid crystals
that the body does not get rid of you need to know about some factors that might cause gout.

Gout occurs when there is too much uric acid in the blood. Certain individuals are more prone to get gout, including males over the age of 30, people who have a history of gout running in the family, individuals who are overweight, those who consume more than two alcoholic drinks daily or two carbonated beverages sweetened with sugar, cigarette smokers, those who regularly use diuretic medications and those who include abundant amounts of red meat, poultry, yeast and seafood in their daily diets.

Gout is typically associated with eating meats that contain a high amount of iron, such as liver. Some vegetables also have high amounts of purine. Purine rich foods such as lentils, asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli and dried beans and beans contribute to the development of gout. Even normally healthy are not safe from purine content. Oatmeal, wheat bran, and wheat germ extract can cause problems for gout sufferers if they are consumed in excess.

The use of cherries in alleviating gout can be traced back to a 1950 study conducted in Texas. 12 patients were observed after they were made to consume about a pound of cherries daily. It was discovered that the level of uric acid in their blood dropped to normal, they became less prone to gout and movement became less painful to them.

Some people want a natural treatment for gout, or any other medical problem. For centuries, plant extracts and natural herbs have been used to treat gout in Europe and Asia. Clinical research proved that those plant extract do have natural compounds that reduce uric acids in the blood and expel it from the body. Those scientific studies lead to the creation of Goutezol. Goutezol is an effective natural treatment for gout because it reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation. It also improves purine metabolism and digestion, gets rid of uric acids in the body, lowers the levels of uric acid in the blood.
