Sadly, this is the biggest mistake of all. You may hear them say, "Mental training, what's that?" And if they do have an idea about it they're likely falling into the other traps you can read about here.
How are you able to become good at something you don't do? You can not.
You've got to engage in using the abilities that will improve your results. Two things will happen. You'll get better results and you'll get better at doing the diverse mental training tactics. The best part is the better you get at using mental training, the better the results you'll gain from it. Sounds rather like a win win situation to me. You get better on two fronts.
Unfortunately for most individuals physical training is just that, physical. People focus only on it. It's easy to mindlessly go thru your exercise session. And you can get some results from doing that. Buts its only a fraction of what's possible with the same precise work done!
Folks all around the world enter into a gym to get something out of it. This may be seeming far better by losing blubber or gaining some muscle. Perhaps they would like to get stronger or be better on the field or mat.
If this is the debate for you (which I'm making a guess it is) then why are you wanting to not use the strongest tool you have? Your Mind
Yes, your mind could be a amazing ally in your journey. But you want to learn how to use it right. If you do not then you will generate results, and you may not.
Sadly your mind may also be your largest enemy and you may not even know it. Here will be showing you the steps to get the positive use out of it and eliminate anything negative that may slow your progress.
All I need you to do now is decide you'll actively engage in mental training on a constant basis.
